Elin Morgan is a pseudonym. My name is Tina Gilmore.
I hope you find my art work here interesting. I have always loved simple sketching with pens in sketchbooks and have many. I have a love of limited colour drawings. My favourites are the old black line sketches in vintage books (especially childrens books) and those with a splash of colour, the yellows are usually my favourite.
I use old vintage paper as substrates for my drawings/collage and vintage 'used' books to store, and sometimes draw, my sketches in. I draw on the backs (sometimes the front) of vintage envelopes, letters invoices, ledger paper and even vintage hand painted wallpaper. My supply of vintage ephemera is vast and interesting along with my collection of old/vintage ledgers.
